It was in December 2019 that I left my job in Intrepid Sourcing, where I was one of the directors and business partners. One of the hardest decisions I have ever made. However, It allowed me to start fresh. And in the Summer of 2020, I come to found an online learning platform that specializes in business. “Empowering Equality” is the mantra of OlingoCo. I have always believed that it is through education that we can achieve it.  Official Lunch March 2021

BACL (Shenzhen) |Associate General Manager   Shenzhen, China

Landing a job in BACL was hard work when the COVID-19 pandemic began. I was unsure of my future and what I would do. I remember my sense of hopelessness while I was in Mexico watching the news about China, and after nine years I thought I would have to say goodbye. It was when I decided, once again, to get a one-way ticket and find my way back to Shenzhen. I look for a job for months, I can still remember the sixty times I sent my resume and the sixty times I didn’t get any answer. It was at the end of April when I decided that I will no longer send emails, but I would only make phone calls and that is who I landed this job as I called and ask for HR and got me an interview that landed me my first position within the company as Key Account Manager. After only three months, and I was promoted as Associate General Manager. I am now helping the company on the RoadMap to become global. I am In charge of opening six new branches in South Asia, Mexico, South Africa, and Europe.

Intrepid Sourcing & Services| Partner & Director   Shenzhen, China

Since I was a young business student back in Mexico, I always had the dream of founding my own company. Finally, in 2016 I joined forces with two other partners to give shape and purpose to ISS, a fast-growing company that specializes in manufacture consulting. It was a dream come true. We helped hundreds of entrepreneurs to create their designs, something a lot of people see as something exclusive for being corporations. What started in the coach of my studio, it grew into a multinational corporation with headquarters in Shenzhen, China, and representative offices in the Philippines and New York. I will always be thankful for my time in Intrepid Sourcing and the many lessons I learn on how to build a brand-new business.

Ginga Group| Asia Business Developer Shenzhen, China

It was in 2011 when I decided that after two years of being a Business Student, it was time for me to move to Shenzhen. My years in Ginga Group, a 100% Mexican company, allowed me to develop skills that I find to be the most important. I traveled around China; I went to the hidden corners of manufacturing cities, and I learn every step of manufacture. I was able to understand the tendencies of different industries, business negotiations. Over my almost four years working at Ginga, I helped to develop products for brands like Hello Kitty, Lamborghini, DC Comics, Minions, Marvel.  I wouldn’t trade my time at Ginga for anything. I was able to ship products that bettered the lives of people in Mexico and other Latin American Countries.
